Maintenance of fuel system of concrete mixer
1. Fill the fuel in time. During the operation of the concrete mixer, the operator shall always pay attention to the amount of fuel. When the fuel quantity displayed on the fuel gauge is close to "0", please make sure to replenish the fuel in time. Don't wait until you run out of fuel. This result not only causes the diesel engine to stall without fuel, but also causes air to enter the fuel system. After the air enters the fuel system, it not only wastes fuel, but also makes it more troublesome to discharge.
2. Take care to avoid fuel system blockage. As we all know, the working environment of concrete mixer is sometimes very special, which is easy to block the fuel system. Once the fuel system is blocked, the normal operation of the machine will be affected. Therefore, please check in time to ensure that the fuel pipe is unblocked.
4. Keep the fuel clean. Approximately 50% of fuel system failures are caused by dirty fuel. For gasoline engines, most of them are caused by the mixing of water in the fuel. Water in gasoline can also corrode and damage components of the fuel supply system.
5. Fuel selection is critical. It is recommended to select high-quality fuel suitable for concrete mixer truck. Poor filtration of inferior fuel, sludge, impurities and moisture accumulate and settle down for a long time, which is easy to block the filter screen of fuel pump, fuel pipe and fuel injector.
The concrete mixer truck is equipped with a cylindrical mixing drum to transport the mixed concrete. During transportation, the mixing drum will always rotate to ensure that the transported concrete will not solidify. After transporting concrete, the interior of the mixing drum is usually washed with water to prevent hardened concrete from occupying space.
