What is intermittent / continuous asphalt concrete mixing plant? What's the difference?
Features of intermittent asphalt mixing plant: modular structural design is adopted to make installation and demolition more convenient, safe, comfortable and reliable operation. The product has good mixing effect and high production efficiency. The control system adopts PLC logic program automatic control and upper-level calculation to track and manage from time to time. Most asphalt mixing plants in the market are intermittent asphalt mixing plants.
The continuous asphalt mixing plant has a large production capacity, which is determined by the process characteristics. The production capacity is more economical at 120-200 cubic meters per hour. It is suitable for large-scale asphalt production, such as continuous paving of asphalt pavement, dam and other engineering construction with high construction continuity requirements.
1. Different working methods
The batching, mixing / pushing and discharging of the continuous mixing plant are carried out continuously from the start of production to the end of production; Batch mixing plant is intermittent production, and discharge is carried out after mixing.
2. Different proportion of input materials
The continuous mixing plant is to put different materials into the designated hopper and send the aggregate to the mixing tank for mixing according to the set mix proportion under the digital control of the computer.
Batch mixing plant is to put raw materials into the hopper of the mixing plant in proportion before mixing.
3. Different yield efficiency
The continuous mixing plant works continuously and stably, and the single unit output is high. Because batch mixing plant produces intermittently, its output and efficiency are not as high as that of continuous mixing plant, but its productivity guarantee is high.
