The basic production process of asphalt mixture includes dehumidification of aggregate, heating and covering the aggregate with hot asphalt. From the working mode, it can be basically divided into batch type (one-pot and one-pot stirring and discharging) and continuous type (continuous mixing and discharging) two kinds.
The batch asphalt mixing plant consists of two different parts, one is the drum and the other is the main building.

The main building is divided into several parts for the screening, storage, weighing and mixing of aggregates.

The drum is placed on a slightly inclined surface (generally 3-4 degrees), the burner is installed at the lower end, the aggregate enters from the other end of the drum slightly higher, and the hot air enters the drum from the burner end, and the lifting plate inside the drum turns the bone. The material frequently passes through the hot air flow, so that the process of dehumidification and heating of the aggregate is completed in the drum; through effective temperature control, the hot and dry aggregate of the appropriate temperature is transferred to the vibrating screen at the top of the main building, and the vibrating screen Particles of different sizes are sieved and dropped into the corresponding storage bins, and then entered into the mixing pot through classification and weighing for mixing. At the same time, the metered hot asphalt and mineral powder also enter the mixing pot (sometimes containing additives or fibers). They are in the mixing pot. After a certain period of mixing in the mixing tank, the aggregate is coated with the asphalt layer to form the finished asphalt mixture.
