Cold material system
The cold material system is the beginning of the production process of the asphalt mixing equipment, and the aggregate is mixed for the first time according to the gradation requirements of the asphalt mixture. It is mainly composed of several independent cold storage bins, feeding belt conveyors, a collection belt conveyor and a feeding belt conveyor.
1. Each independent silo of the cold material system adopts a modular design, which is convenient for transportation, installation and disassembly. It is connected with the silo supporting chassis during the installation to form a whole. The silo door opening mechanism adopts manual adjustment. If you need to adjust the aggregate gradation, there are two adjustment methods, namely, changing the opening size of the cold silo door, or adjusting the belt speed of the feeding belt to meet the requirements, but mainly It is to adjust the rotation speed of the feeding belt conveyor, and adjust the warehouse door only when the adjustment speed cannot meet the requirements. Each bin is covered with a grid mesh, which can filter out the excess aggregate when the loader dumps the aggregate into the bin, and at the same time can alleviate the impact of the aggregate on the bin. The outer wall of the sand bunker is equipped with a vibration motor, which can make the sand fall smoothly and prevent arching. The cold silo can only be started when the relevant equipment is ready to accept aggregate preparations. The start of the cold silo motor depends on the operation of other motors (such as drying cylinders, dust collectors, etc.) of the mixing station. Therefore, the cold silo can only be started after the above motors are started.
2. The feeding belt is a corrugated belt with ribs. Its advantage is to prevent the side spilling of the aggregate and keep the material yard tidy. Below each silo is equipped with a set of feeding belt conveyor, which is responsible for sending the aggregate in the silo to the collecting belt. Its running speed can be adjusted by frequency converter, depending on the gradation needs of asphalt mixture. When the belt deflects, it can be corrected by adjusting the screw; if the wavy rib belt deflects to the outside, it should pass the outside.
The adjusting screw moves the sliding bearing to the right until the belt is no longer misaligned. vice versa. But pay attention to one principle in the process of adjusting the belt: the belt tension should not be too small, too small, the belt slips, too tight, it will cause abnormal stress of the roller bearing, serious wear and large power consumption, the belt is easy to prematurely damage .
3. The collecting belt and the feeding belt run at a constant speed. The head is equipped with a scraper-type cleaner, which can scrape off the mud and sand adhering to the outer surface of the belt. The gravity-type cleaner is equipped at the tail to prevent aggregates etc. Tighten the roller and damage the belt.
